1. Booking & Payment
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your safari dates.
- Final Balance: Due 45 days before the tour starts. For bookings made within 45 days, full payment is required immediately.
- Currency: Prices are quoted in USD (Non-Residents) and KES (Residents).
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- By Client: Cancellations must be in writing.
- 46+ days: Deposit forfeited.
- 31–45 days: 50% of total cost charged.
- 0–30 days: 100% of total cost charged (No refund).
- By Mara Whisper Safaris: We reserve the right to cancel for “Force Majeure” (war, natural disaster, etc.). In such cases, a credit note or partial refund (minus bank fees) will be issued.
3. Travel Insurance (Mandatory)
- Clients must have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, and trip cancellation. Mara Whisper Safaris is not liable for personal injury or lost luggage.
4. Itinerary Changes
- While we strive to follow the plan, we reserve the right to alter routes or accommodation due to weather, road conditions, or park regulations to ensure safety.
5. Liability & Risk
- Participation in safaris involves inherent risks (wildlife encounters, rough terrain). By booking, you acknowledge these risks and waive liability against Mara Whisper Safaris for unforeseen accidents.
6. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
