Day 1: Nairobi to the Heart of the Mara
- Morning: Your journey begins with a private transfer from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Wilson Airport. Board your scheduled 1-hour flight at 10:00 AM, soaring over the dramatic Great Rift Valley and the volcanic peaks of Mt. Longonot.
- Midday: Upon landing at the Mara airstrip, you will be met by your professional driver-guide in a custom 4×4 Land Cruiser. Enjoy a short “en-route” game drive as you head to Sarova Mara Game Camp for check-in and a gourmet lunch.
- Afternoon: At 3:30 PM, head out for your first official game drive. This is the golden hour when predators like lions and cheetahs begin their evening hunt.
- Evening: Return to the camp for a sundowner by the bonfire, followed by a sumptuous dinner.
- Overnight: Sarova Mara Game Camp (Full Board).
Day 2: Full Day Wildlife Extravaganza
- Early Morning: Rise at dawn for a 6:15 AM game drive. The cool morning air is the best time to spot the elusive leopard and witness the activity of the Great Migration (seasonal).
- Mid-Morning: Return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast. Spend the midday at leisure by the swimming pool or enjoy the campβs bird sanctuary.
- Optional Activity: Visit a traditional Maasai Village ($40 USD) to experience the vibrant culture, traditional dances, and unique architecture of the Maasai people.
- Late Afternoon: Embark on another game drive exploring the Mara River banks, home to massive pods of hippos and Nile crocodiles.
- Overnight: Sarova Mara Game Camp (Full Board).
Day 3: Sunrise Safari and Return to Nairobi
- Morning: After a hearty breakfast and check-out, your guide will transfer you to the airstrip.
- Midday: Board your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, our representative will meet you for a transfer back to your hotel or the international airport for your flight home.
