Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve Your expedition begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, traveling through the fertile highlands of the Kikuyu people before descending the spectacular Great Rift Valley escarpment. Arrive at AA Lodge Mara in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Mara, a land of rolling grasslands and acacia woodlands.

Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara Spend a full day exploring the vastness of the Mara. This reserve is globally renowned for its high concentration of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. During the months of July through October, the plains are filled with over 1.5 million wildebeest and zebras. You will visit the Mara River, a site of dramatic crossings and home to massive crocodiles and hippos.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is a sanctuary for the endangered Black and White Rhinos and is famous for its birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. Upon arrival and check-in, enjoy an afternoon game drive along the shores of the alkaline lake, where you may spot Rothschild giraffes and waterbucks.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park Travel south toward Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. An evening game drive introduces you to the park’s famous elephant herds against the backdrop of the mountain.

Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli National Park Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. The “Observation Hill” offers a panoramic view of the entire park and the mountain peak.

Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi (Final Safari Leg) After a final sunrise game drive and breakfast, depart for Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your preferred drop-off point within the city.
