Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve Depart Nairobi at 8:00 AM, descending into the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the panoramic escarpment viewpoint. Arrive at Rhino Tourist Camp in time for lunch. Enjoy an introductory evening game drive in the Mara, famous for its high concentration of big cats.

Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara Exploration Spend a full day traversing the rolling grasslands of the Mara. Search for the “Big Five” and witness the hippos and crocodiles of the Mara River. Between July and September, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras brave predators to cross the plains.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy an optional visit to a Maasai Village to learn about local traditions ($20 per person). Arrive at Lake Nakuru in the evening for relaxation and sunset views

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park Embark on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, a premier sanctuary for endangered Black and White Rhinos and Rothschild giraffes. Afterward, drive toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for dinner with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli National Park Dedicate the day to Amboseli’s diverse habitats. Known as the “Land of Giants,” the park offers unparalleled views of large elephant herds against the backdrop of Africa’s highest peak. Visit Observation Hill for a bird’s-eye view of the swamps filled with hippos and buffalo.

Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi  After breakfast, commence the drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon for your hotel drop-off or airport transfer.
