Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
The safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check into your safari lodge or tented camp and embark on an afternoon game drive, searching for the “Big Five” and other plains game. Dinner and overnight stay in Maasai Mara.
Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara National Reserve
Kenya Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Maasai Mara. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, with an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise (additional cost). The Mara is famous for its wildebeest migration (seasonal) and its healthy predator population, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. All meals and overnight stay in Maasai Mara.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Isebania Border & Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
After breakfast, depart from Maasai Mara and drive to the Isebania border post for immigration formalities into Tanzania. Continue the journey to the Serengeti National Park, entering through the northern or western gates depending on the camp location. Enjoy an en-route game drive to your camp. Dinner and overnight stay in Serengeti.
Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. The park is globally recognized for its annual wildebeest migration and its incredible density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and various antelope species. Morning and afternoon game drives are planned. All meals and overnight stay in Serengeti.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania
After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers scenic views and opportunities for wildlife spotting. Arrive at your lodge or camp on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight stay in Ngorongoro.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Drive to Arusha, Tanzania Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling half-day game drive. The crater floor is a natural wonder, home to an estimated 25,000 large animals, including the endangered black rhino. After the game drive and a picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and drive to Arusha. Dinner and overnight stay in Arusha.
Day 7: Departure from Arusha, Tanzania
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some souvenir shopping in Arusha. You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward flight, marking the end of your safari adventure
